• 4-7 years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience in microservice-based applications with Spring Boot.

• Robust knowledge of Spring Data and data modeling.

Your impact

• Create, extend and test microservices written in Java / Spring Boot, using a variety of related technologies


• Write clean and maintainable code following best practices, that your colleagues love to read and easily enhance


• Analyze non-technical requirements and discuss your own technical solutions with the team


• Work closely with Frontend Engineers and Product Managers in order to build best in class products for our customers


• Extend and advance the data model


• Take full ownership and responsibility for your code throughout the whole software development lifecycle (you build it, you run it, you own it!)


• Rapidly fix bugs that occur in production

Requirements

• You have experience of 4-7 years in software development


• You have been professionally engaged in developing, maintaining and deploying microservice-based applications written in Spring Boot for at least 4 years


• You are an expert in Java 17 (or newer versions) and you have sound knowledge and experience in clean design of modern REST APIs


• During your previous roles, you have gained robust knowledge with Spring Data, data modeling and SQL databases


• Nice-to-have: Ideally, your Java development skills are supplemented by experience in working with asynchronous / event driven systems
