Job summary

Lufthansa Technik Component Services LLC sucht ein/e Praktikant/in zur Unterstützung der Entwicklung von Power BI Dashboards und Berichten, um Einblicke in zentrale Geschäftsprozesse zu gewinnen. Du führst SQL-Abfragen aus und analysierst Daten aus verschiedenen Systemen.

Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören KPI- und Projektdokumentationen, Zusammenarbeit mit Fachbereichen, Gestaltung von Datenmodellen für Reporting und die Vorbereitung von Präsentationen.

Qualifications

• Derzeit im Bachelor- oder Masterstudium in Business Analytics, Engineering oder vergleichbar.
• Erfahrung mit Datenanalyse-Tools und Programmiersprachen wie Python, SQL und Power BI.
• Sollte über statistische Konzepte und Datenvisualisierung Bescheid wissen.
• Fließendes Englisch (mündlich und schriftlich).
• Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
• MS-Office-Kenntnisse.
• Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten.
• Analytische und problemorientierte Denkweise.
• Selbstständiges Arbeiten sowie Teamfähigkeit.
• Für die Stelle ist eine gültige Arbeitsgenehmigung in den USA erforderlich.

Responsibilities

• Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung von Power BI Dashboards und Berichten.
• Durchführung von SQL-Abfragen zur Datenextraktion, -transformation und -analyse.
• Pflege von KPI- und Projektdokumentationen (Prozessflüsse, Anforderungen, Spezifikationen).
• Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams zur Ableitung datenbasierter Lösungen.
• Unterstützung beim Aufbau und der Verbesserung von Datenmodellen.
• Vorbereitung von Präsentationen und Berichten für Stakeholder.
• Ad-hoc-Analysen und Datenunterstützung für Projektleiter und Führungskräfte.
• Alle weiteren zugewiesenen Aufgaben.

Aufgaben:

Support the development of Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insights into key business processesPerform SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various systemsCreate and maintain KPI and project documentation, including process flows, requirements, and technical specificationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutionsHelp maintain and improve data models to support reporting and analytics initiativesAssist in preparing presentations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholdersProvide ad-hoc analysis and data support to project managers and business leadersAll other duties as assigned or required

Qualifikation:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Engineering or a related field
• Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Power BI
• Knowledge of statistical concepts and data visualization techniques
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• German language skills are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
