This niche UK Consulting business is looking for a proactive, customer-focused IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive end-user support and administration across enterprise systems, handling technical resolutions from L1 through to L3 fixes.

The successful applicant will be a dedicated problem-solver with strong communication skills, ready to act as the key operational support link within a fast-paced environment.

The Tech & Scope of Role:

• Systems & Identity Administration: Hands-on daily administration across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Ticketing & Collaboration Tools: Managing user requests, incident lifecycles, and runbooks using JIRA and Confluence.
• Endpoint & OS Management: Supporting Windows 10/11 workstations, managing Microsoft Intune device enrolment, and overseeing basic patch management.
• User Support: Resolving incoming technical incidents across hardware, software, and core user services.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support or 1st/2nd line system administration.
• Language Skills: Fluent German speaker with strong professional English communication skills.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, customer-first mindset, and clear technical communication.
• Status: Must currently reside in Germany with valid authorization to operate as an independent freelancer (Freiberufler / Gewerbe).
• Mobility: Willingness to commit to a 3 weeks on-site / 1 week remote rotation in Western Bavaria.
