The Industry Engagement Coordinator position is a grant funded position and will be housed within Florida Department of Corrections Central Office location.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional experience in the workforce development, business development, or partnership development or related field; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry; Effective written and oral communication skills; and valid Florida Driver’s License.
Knowledge of the Florida Department of Corrections policies and procedures. Knowledge of the Compass 100 Hybrid program objectives. Knowledge of Curriculum development. Knowledge of project evaluation. Knowledge of administrative principles and practices. Knowledge of office procedures and practices. Knowledge of methods of data collection. Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication. Proficient computer skills in Excel and Microsoft Word software. Proficient in speaking effectively to small groups. Provide excellent leadership skills. Provide excellent training skills. Provide excellent organizational skills. Data gathering skills. Ability to create spreadsheets and provide appropriate reports. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work assignments with accuracy.
