Mission
The selected engineer will play a key role in the full analog and mixed‑signal design flow, contributing to the conception, implementation, and validation of critical circuit blocks. The mission is to design high‑performance AMS IP, ensure their integration into complex SoCs, and maintain rigorous verification standards. This position directly influences the robustness, efficiency, and scalability of advanced semiconductor platforms.
Responsibilities
- Analog & Mixed-Signal Circuit Design
- Design analog and mixed‑signal IP such as data converters, PLLs, SerDes components, and embedded memory elements.
- Define architectures and translate specifications into transistor‑level implementations.
- Layout Implementation & Verification
- Develop full custom layouts and ensure physical correctness and performance compliance.
- Conduct pre- and post‑layout simulations, optimization, and sign‑off verification.
- Modeling & Behavioral Abstraction
- Create and maintain behavioral and mixed‑signal models to support system‑level verification and cross‑domain validation.
- SoC Integration & Cross‑Team Collaboration
- Support integration of AMS blocks into large System‑on‑Chip platforms.
- Collaborate with digital, physical design, and verification teams to ensure functional consistency and interface robustness.
- Advanced Technology Node Development
- Work with state‑of‑the‑art CMOS nodes (28 nm, 22 nm and below) and contribute to methodologies for high‑performance circuit design in advanced processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in analog/mixed‑signal circuit design, layout implementation, and verification.
- Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and related AMS design environments.
- Solid understanding of mixed‑signal architectures (e.g., ADCs, DACs, PLLs).
- Strong analytical skills and a solution‑oriented engineering approach.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on AMS IP in advanced CMOS nodes.
- Familiarity with SoC integration flows and mixed‑signal verification environments.
- Knowledge of scripting for design automation or simulation efficiency.
- Exposure to high‑speed interfaces or precision analog blocks.
