We are part of the Dussmann Group, a privately owned, large‑scale integrated facility management specialist headquartered in Berlin.

The Opportunity

As our next HSE Lead, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring everyone goes home safe at the end of each day. You’ll work closely with the site management teams to ensure a positive and well‑informed HSE culture flourishes. Key to this role will be identifying all HSE risks and ensuring the best prevention and mitigation controls are in place.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct site audits and assessments, follow up on corrective actions, and be the go‑to for all things Health, Safety and Environmental.
  • Develop project‑specific HSE documents with the project management team (HSE Plans, RAMS, Aspects & Impacts Register, etc.).
  • Ensure our sites are compliant with all relevant HSE legislation and adhere to our HSEQ Management systems (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001).
  • Collaborate proactively with site management teams, subcontractors and clients to promote the project EHS requirements.
  • Promote STS Mission Zero by ensuring company inductions, site orientations and training are delivered in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of HSE leadership experience in a construction environment, ideally on electrical and/or mechanical projects.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and training in Environmental, Health & Safety.
  • Thorough knowledge of current HSE legislation and regulations.
  • Ability to efficiently manage all HSE issues on projects.
  • Excellent IT skills; quick to pick up new systems.
  • A self‑starter capable of working on one’s own initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High proficiency in English (written & spoken).
Desirable but not Essential
  • Prior experience in Data Centre or Pharmaceutical projects.
  • Work experience in Europe.
  • Completed instructor training courses (e.g., working at heights, manual handling, or abrasive wheels).
Why Join The STS Group?
  • A dynamic, growing company in the construction & M&E industry.
  • A supportive team where your skills will be valued and developed.
  • Competitive salary.
