Job summary

STS Group Limited in Frankfurt, Germany is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support mission-critical electrical projects. You will lead site audits, develop RAMS and HSE plans, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

This role requires strong IT skills, self-motivation and excellent English. You will collaborate with site management, subcontractors and clients to promote EHS requirements and deliver inductions and training in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualifications and training in Environmental, Health & Safety.
• Good knowledge of current HSE-related legislation & regulations.
• Excellent IT skills and the ability to learn new systems with ease.
• A self-starter and capable of working on your own initiative.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High Proficiency in the English language (written & spoken).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site audits and assessments, follow up on corrective actions and be the go-to for Health, Safety, and Environmental matters.
• Develop project-specific HSE documents with the project management team (HSE Plans, RAMS, Aspects & Impacts Register, etc).
• Ensure sites comply with HSE legislation and adhere to ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001.
• Collaborate with site management teams, subcontractors, and clients to promote EHS requirements.
• Deliver inductions and training in a timely manner as part of STS Mission Zero.

We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental professional to support our exciting mission-critical projects. We are currently delivering a large package of electrical work for a mission-critical project in Frankfurt. STS Group is fully committed to the highest Health, Safety and Environmental practices; this position will play an essential role for our business.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will work closely with our site management teams to ensure a positive, well-informed EHS culture. Key to this role will be identifying all EHS risks and ensuring the best prevention and mitigation controls are in place across the projects.

Some of the duties include:

• The Expert - Conducting regular site audits and assessments, following up on corrective actions and becoming the go-to for all things Health, Safety, and Environmental.
• Sharing and Reporting - Development of project-specific HSE documents in conjunction with the project management team (HSE Plans, RAMS, Aspects & Impacts Register etc).
• Meeting the Highest Standards - Ensuring our sites are compliant with all relevant HSE legislation, and adherent to our HSEQ Management systems (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001).
• Team Collaboration - Proactively work with site management teams, subcontractors, and clients to promote the project EHS requirements.
• Promoting "STS Mission Zero" - Making sure company inductions, site orientations and training are delivered in a timely manner.
