Meyandy LLC in Germany seeks an HR Administrator to own the Germany office and regional HR support. You’ll manage onboarding, contracts, payroll inputs, and employee queries while partnering with the HR Manager (UK/EU).

On the office side, you’ll handle Berlin facilities, vendor relations, safety, events, and general administration, becoming the trusted face of People and HR in Germany.

Qualifikationen

  • Some experience in an HR administration, HR coordinator, or office administration role (internships and placements considered)
  • Working knowledge of German employment law and HR practices
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with employee data and documentation
  • A proactive, can-do attitude, comfortable working independently as the HR and office presence on the ground in Germany
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with employees at all levels
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Aufgaben

  • HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle (Germany): Act as the first point of contact for Germany-based employees on day-to-day HR queries, policies and procedures, escalating and supporting complex matters with the HR Manager (UK/EU)
  • Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle for Germany and EU employees, including onboarding, contract changes, promotions, transfers and offboarding
  • Prepare and issue employment contracts, contract amendments and other employment documentation in line with local legal requirements
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records and personnel files for the Germany population, ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction for new starters in Germany and EU, including right-to-work checks, equipment set up, and welcome activities
  • Support recruitment activity for Germany-based roles, including scheduling interviews, liaising with candidates and hiring managers, and maintaining the applicant tracking system
  • Prepare and submit monthly Germany payroll inputs (e.g. new starters, leavers, changes), working closely with the HR Manager and the Mexico Service Centre
  • Support benefits administration for German employees, including pension, health insurance and other statutory benefits
  • Help ensure compliance with German and EU labour law and statutory requirements, flagging risks or changes to the HR Manager (UK/EU)
  • Support the administration of performance review cycles and any local training or development activity
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager on EU and Germany-related HR projects, audits and reporting
  • Office Administration (Germany): Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day office administration in the German offices
  • Manage office supplies, equipment and vendor relationships
  • Support health & safety compliance for the Berlin office, including risk assessments and fire safety procedures
  • Organise office events, socials and wellbeing initiatives for the Berlin team, in partnership with the HR Manager and the wider Employee Experience calendar
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and visitor arrangements for the Berlin office
  • Support new starters with desk set up, access passes/keys, and induction to the office
  • Liaise with building management/landlord on facilities issues
  • Support ad hoc administrative and office management tasks as required
