Coffee Circle in Berlin is hiring for a kitchen role to lead and supervise snack production across our five cafés. You will ensure quality, presentation, and efficient operations, while maintaining inventory and safety standards.

The role requires strong organizational skills and experience in a quality restaurant kitchen. We value independence, reliability, and the ability to collaborate with baristas and kitchen staff.

Qualifikationen

• Min. 1-2 years of kitchen experience in a good quality restaurant or café.
• Fluent English and at least B1 level German or higher.
• Availability to work weekends and adapt to opening hours.

Aufgaben

• Produce and supervise all snacks for the five Coffee Circle Cafés in Berlin.
• Ensure snacks meet quality and presentation standards.
• Keep kitchen operations smooth and resolve organizational challenges.
• Monitor inventory to meet guest requests while minimizing waste.
• Comply with local cleaning and safety regulations.
• Support staff lunch preparation and cover during manager absences.

Your role

• Produce and supervise the production of all the dishes of our snack menu, which include a wide range of our popular classic cakes, cookies, and bars for our five Coffee Circle Cafés in Berlin.
• Make sure that the snacks produced adhere to our standards in terms of quality and presentation.
• Make sure our kitchen operations run smoothly by being able to proactively solve occurring organisational challenges.
• Keep a constant eye on our inventory ensuring we are always able to meet the requests of our guests while never wasting stock.
• Comply with local regulations (in terms of cleaning, safety, etc.).
• React to customers feedback and needs to support the improvement of the way in which we run our operations as well as the food that we serve.
• Support the preparation of our staff lunch for the Coffee Circle Café Wedding.
• Be responsible of the Kitchen in the absence days of our Kitchen Manager/ Sous Chef.
• Work together with our Kitchen Team (5 people) as well as our Baristas to ensure proper service and a smooth customer experience in our Coffee Circle Café Wedding in Lindower Str. 18 13347 Berlin.

Your profile

• Min. 1-2 years of experience in the Kitchen of a good quality restaurant or café: we highly value candidates who are strong in breakfast, brunch, and lunch preparation.
• Independent way of working as well as ownership of the tasks assigned.
• Reliability and responsibility: we count on your punctuality and ability to get things done without close supervision.
• Great organizational skills as well as attention to detail.
• Creative and problem solving mindset: you are capable of coming up with new ideas to improve the way in which we operate as well as solve daily challenges.
• Cleanliness and solid knife skills are a must.
• Availability to work on weekends (our Kitchen is open Monday to Sunday).
• Valid work permit to perform this role in Germany as we do not sponsor working visas.
• Ability to communicate effectively both in English (fluency required) and German (min. B1 level).

Our conditions and offer

• 30 minimum weekly working hours, though, for operational needs you may cover extra shifts up to 7,5h a week which will be compensated on top of your fixed salary.
• The working hours within the opening hours of the Coffee Circle Café Wedding.
• One year contract, with 20 days of holidays per year considering a 4 days work-week.
