Job summary

IronMaxx Nutrition in Germany seeks a strategic Head of Procurement to lead the protein and packaging sourcing. You will build a high-performing team, develop category strategies for whey materials, and oversee risk management and dual sourcing with global suppliers.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Sales and Product Development to ensure price stability, availability and timely market access while advancing SAP-based processes and procurement tools to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, economics or related field.
• Several years of protein/whey or food procurement experience.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Experience with SAP procurement tools and dual-sourcing strategies.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Your skillset - as strong as our protein

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related commercial field
• Several years of professional experience in the procurement of protein, whey or other food products
• In-depth category and supplier knowledge in the Nutrition/Food Ingredients sector
• Proven negotiation skills and contract success
• Experience with whey proteins and functional foods
• Expertise in risk management and dual-soosing strategies
• Proficient in SAP
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Strog analytical, strategic and results-driven mindset
• Excellent communicatio, negotiation and leadership skills
