Uniper invites you to join our Solar & BESS Engineering Team in Düsseldorf as Head of Solar Development Engineering. You will lead the Development Engineering team, provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle, and optimize designs for performance, cost, and constructability.

The role requires 7+ years in renewable energy engineering and 3+ years in leadership, with strong knowledge of solar PV, BESS, grid connection, and due diligence.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in renewable energy engineering, including utility-scale Solar projects.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience leading and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of Solar PV, BESS, grid connection, and project development.
• Experience in project optimization, technical due diligence, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
