Zusammenfassung

Uniper in Düsseldorf invites motivated students for a 3-6 month internship in our Business Strategy team. You will gain hands-on experience shaping the future of energy markets and supporting strategic initiatives.

As part of the internship, you will analyze market trends, assist in business cases, and prepare presentations for internal stakeholders while collaborating across functions. Fluent English and MS Office skills are required, and a cover letter is encouraged.

• Assisting in the preparation of business cases and portfolio transformation ideas
• Contributing to assessments of Uniper’s current business strategies by integrating technical, commercial, and regulatory perspectives
• Helping to prepare presentations and communication material for internal stakeholders and management
• Work closely with colleagues across the company and gain insight into different business functions
• Support in the coordination of project activities and stakeholder workshops
• Assist in aligning project assumptions and preparing summaries of results for various reporting lines

Your responsibilities

As an intern in our Business Strategy team, you will gain first-hand experience in shaping the future of energy markets and Uniper’s Strategy. Your main tasks will include:

• Supporting analysis of current and future energy market trends covering the full range of business Uniper is active in incl. transformative growth areas (e.g. BESS, flexibility, renewables)
• Assisting in the preparation of business cases and portfolio transformation ideas
• Contributing to assessments of Uniper’s current business strategies by integrating technical, commercial, and regulatory perspectives
• Helping to prepare presentations and communication material for internal stakeholders and management
• Work closely with colleagues across the company (e.g. Energy Asset Operations, Controlling, Asset Project-Development, Power- and Gas-Trading etc.) and gain insight into different business functions
• Support in the coordination of project activities and stakeholder workshops
• Assist in aligning project assumptions and preparing summaries of results for various reporting lines

Your profile

• You are currently enrolled in a university program (engineering, economics, social or natural sciences or a related field, energy-related studies preferred)
• 3-6 months of full-time availability for the internship
• Strong interest in the energy industry and its transformation
• Initial experience (through university projects, internships, or student jobs) in energy, business, or policy-related topics is an advantage
• Analytical mindset with enthusiasm to learn and contribute
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken
• Very good English skills; knowledge of another European language (e.g. German, Dutch, Italian, French) is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Provision of a cover-letter for the application
