Aufgaben

• Lead the Propulsion Division including rocket engine design, testing, and fluid systems.
• Oversee engine development, manufacturing, testing, and vehicle integration of propulsion systems.
• Ensure timely and cost-efficient execution of technical tasks and projects.
• Foster innovation in propulsion and engine/vehicle integration.
• Manage resources including personnel and budget.
• Liaise with the Vehicles department.
• Support customer acquisition.

Your mission

• Leading the Propulsion Division with responsibility for at least three departments in the fields of rocket engine design, rocket engine testing and fluid systems
• Responsible for all engine developments at POLARIS including design, manufacturing, testing, and vehicle integration of propulsion systems
• Ensuring the prompt and cost-effective execution of technical tasks and projects
• Fostering innovation in propulsion systems and engine/vehicle integration
• Managing resources including personnel and budget
• Serving as liaison with the Vehicles department
• Support customer acquisition

The Head of Propulsion reports to the Head of Engineering.

Your profile

• Comprehensive work experience in major rocket engine projects
• Comprehensive experience in leading large teams/projects
• Additional work experience in air-breathing propulsion systems is an advantage
• Additional background in hypersonics technologies is an advantage
• Experience in the defense sector is an advantage
• Proficiency in both German and English
