Jobtailor is seeking an experienced leader to head its HR Service Center in Mannheim, overseeing payroll and all HR administration from onboarding to offboarding.

• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the HR Service Center
• Overall responsibility for HR services, including payroll and all administrative HR processes from onboarding to offboarding
• Leadership, development, and strategic advancement of the HR Services team
• Ensuring accurate, timely, and service-oriented payroll processing and HR administration
• Establishing KPI-based management supported by reports and dashboards
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation initiatives
• Further developing the HR Service Center as part of the digitalization and transformation agenda

Requirements

• Completed university degree, ideally with a focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in HR services, HR administration, payroll, or a shared services environment
• Leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of German payroll processing
• Knowledge of employment, tax, and social security law
• Strong process understanding
• Experience with HR, ERP, and payroll systems; ideally DATEV, SAP, Oracle, or ATOSS
