Zusammenfassung

INEOS is seeking an HR Shared Service Specialist - Payroll (m/f/d) to oversee the monthly payroll for multiple German entities, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with our external payroll provider, HR and Finance to drive process improvements and payroll-related projects, delivering timely reports and insights.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Business Administration or HR and several years of payroll experience in an international or manufacturing

As our HR Shared Service Specialist - Payroll (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations for multiple German legal entities. Working closely with our external payroll provider, HR and Finance, you will contribute to payroll excellence, support process improvements and help drive payroll-related projects and system enhancements.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for multiple German legal entities.
• Ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll execution in close collaboration with our external payroll provider.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, HR, Finance and managers on payroll-related topics.
• Maintain and continuously improve payroll processes, documentation and governance.
• Support and lead payroll-related system implementations and enhancement projects.
• Collaborate with the external payroll provider to ensure high service quality and continuous improvement.
• Prepare payroll reports, analyses and statistics to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with German payroll, tax and social security regulations.
• Support internal and external payroll audits as well as month-end and year-end closing activities.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in payroll administration, ideally within an international or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of German payroll, tax, social security and employment regulations.
• Experience working with payroll systems such as ADP Loga or comparable HR/payroll applications.
• Experience managing payroll-related projects and driving process improvements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and interpret payroll reports and statistics.
• Excellent organizational skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across HR, Finance and external service providers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
