Global Digital Marketing Analytics Manager (d / f / m)

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for measuring, analysing and delivering insights on brand performance and consumer behaviour across digital channels. By combining website analytics, owned media and market research you will ensure clear visibility of how brands perform in both traditional and AI‑powered search environments and provide actionable recommendations to drive growth.

This is a permanent position based in Munich.

What you will do
  • Measure, analyse and deliver insights on brand performance and consumer behaviour across websites, social media, search and e‑commerce.
  • Analyse owned media (web search, social media, reviews) to learn consumer behaviour, brand performance and optimise consumer journeys.
  • Share best practices with the team of global digital managers and networks (both global and local digital directors/ managers within Essity).
  • Support the definition and lead the development and implementation of harmonised measurement frameworks for marketing digital touchpoints within Essity globally, including global tracking standards for their categories of responsibility.
  • Monitor and report brand presence in AI Overviews (Google) and other LLM‑driven search platforms.
  • Translate digital analytics into clear stories and growth recommendations for marketers and leadership.
  • Connect digital performance with consumer and brand health insights.
  • Conceptualise global dashboards to align KPIs and ensure visibility across markets.
  • Collaborate with marketing insights, e‑commerce and IT teams to embed data‑driven decision‑making.
Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand Management or a related field.

Extensive relevant professional experience
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect analytics with organisational goals.
  • Proven experience working with Digital Analytics software such as GA4, Looker Studio and SemRush.
  • Solid understanding of AI‑driven search technologies such as Google’s AI Overview and LLM‑based platforms and their influence on brand visibility.
  • Skilled in creating reports for senior management and strong storytelling skills to translate data into clear actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to integrate digital data with consumer / market research insights.
  • Fluency in English both verbal and written.
