dormakaba is seeking a Global Communications Specialist to partner with the Head of Global Communications and senior stakeholders to shape corporate narratives and the company’s communication strategy. The role translates complex business topics into clear, audience-focused messaging for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities include strategy development, executive communications, content creation, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve storytelling and engagement across functions

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Approx. 5–7 years in corporate communications, PR, or strategic communications.
• Experience in a multinational company supporting senior leaders.
• Experience in change/leadership/transformational communication is advantageous.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation development capabilities.

Working closely with the Head of Global Communications and senior business stakeholders, the Global Communications Specialist is a trusted partner on strategic corporate topics and a key contributor to the company's communication strategy and narrative. The role shapes corporate narratives, communication strategies, and messaging frameworks that support the company's business objectives, strategic priorities, and reputation.

It translates complex business topics into clear, compelling, audience-focused communication for internal and external stakeholders. Combining communication expertise with creativity, business understanding, and modern digital practices, the role develops communication concepts, presentations, content, and strategic plans that drive engagement, understanding, and alignment across the organization.

What You Will Do

Strategy & Narrative Development

• Support the development and implementation of communication strategies aligned with the company's strategic priorities and business objectives.
• Shape and embed corporate narratives and messaging frameworks across key communication activities and channels.
• Translate complex business, transformation, and organizational topics into compelling communication concepts and stakeholder-focused messaging.
• Develop strategic communication plans for business initiatives, organizational change, leadership programs, and transformation projects, including acquisitions, integrations, and restructuring.
• Conduct research and stakeholder analysis to support communication planning, positioning, and decision-making.

Executive & Leadership Communications

• Develop materials for senior leaders and Executive Committee members, including presentations, speeches, talking points, Q&As, briefing documents, and leadership messages.
• Support leadership events, conferences, town halls, and employee engagement activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor on communication approaches, messaging, and audience engagement.

Content, Presentations & Storytelling

• Create high-quality written and visual content across internal and external channels.
• Build executive-level PowerPoint presentations that turn complex information, data, and business topics into compelling visual stories.
• Identify and develop impactful stories that support business objectives and strengthen reputation.
• Support leadership presentations for employee, customer, investor, and external audiences.

Digital & AI-Enabled Communication

• Use AI-supported tools and modern communication technologies to enhance content creation and effectiveness and continuous improvement of communication workflows.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with business leaders, HR, Strategy, Investor Relations, Legal, and other functions.
• Coordinate communication activities across teams and functions to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging.

What We Require

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Approximately 5-7 years in corporate communications, public relations, or strategic communications, ideally including agency experience.
• Experience in a multinational company, with proven experience supporting senior leaders and executives.
• Experience in change, leadership, or transformation communication is advantageous.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Outstanding PowerPoint and presentation development capabilities.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex corporate topics.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Professional fluency in both German and English (written and verbal) is required; bilingual candidates are ideal.
• Ability to create high-quality communication materials, presentations, and executive messaging in both languages.
