Zusammenfassung

WeRecruit has partnered with BERTA in Berlin to recruit a Floor Manager who will lead the Front of House team during service, ensuring guests receive exceptional hospitality and attention. You will work closely with restaurant management, kitchen and bar, briefing before service, managing sections, and maintaining standards while training and empowering the team to deliver a seamless dining experience.

This role requires a strong presence on the floor, punctuality and a passion for guest

Aufgaben

• Leading and supervising the Front of House team during service
• Ensuring smooth, organised and efficient service from opening to closing
• Briefing the team before service and communicating priorities, reservations and special requests
• Managing sections and adapting the floor plan according to business levels
• Maintaining a strong presence on the floor throughout service
• Welcoming guests and building relationships with regular and new customers
• Monitoring guest satisfaction and anticipating needs
• Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally and effectively
• Ensuring consistent application of BERTA's service standards
• Coordinating closely with the kitchen and bar to maintain an efficient service flow
• Supporting the team during high-volume periods
• Training, coaching and developing Front of House team members
• Supporting onboarding and integration of new employees
• Ensuring the team has strong menu, beverage and product knowledge
• Monitoring mise en place, cleanliness and restaurant presentation
• Supporting opening and closing procedures
• Helping maintain a positive, professional and motivating working environment
• Leading by example in terms of attitude, punctuality, organisation and hospitality

YOUR ROLE

As Floor Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Front of House team during service and ensuring that every guest receives the level of hospitality and attention expected at BERTA.

Working closely with the restaurant management, kitchen and bar teams, you will be a strong presence on the floor and a reference point for the team.
