Qualifikationen

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of German GAAP and the German tax system (VAT, corporate tax).
  • Proven experience in financial management or accounting roles.

Aufgaben

  • Oversee all financial, accounting, and administrative matters of the German entity.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and mid-term financial plans.
  • Monitor cash flow, credit control, payments, and overall financial performance.

TYPE : Permanent, full-time

WORKING HOURS : 9 : 00–17 : 00, Monday to Friday

SALARY : €90,000–100,000 depending on experience

START : ASAP

LOCATION : Hamburg, Germany

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial, accounting, and administrative matters of the German entity
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and mid-term financial plans
  • Monitor cash flow, credit control, payments, and overall financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with German GAAP, tax regulations, and internal group policies
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant authorities
  • Prepare VAT, EU Sales List, Intrastat, and other statutory reports
  • Lead and supervise the finance and administration team (2 staff members)
  • Oversee payroll processes in cooperation with external providers
  • Support HR-related matters including contracts, time recording, and employment administration
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director on financial, tax, legal, and administrative topics
Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of German GAAP and the German tax system (VAT, corporate tax)
  • Proven experience in financial management or accounting roles
  • Experience managing or supervising finance / admin staff
  • Fluent German and English
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive, business-oriented mindset
