Tasks
  • Advise customers as a technical specialist to resolve issues related to system and process engineering
  • Prevent production interruptions by implementing preventive maintenance, managing spare‑part inventories and driving modernization measures
  • Inspect and record safety‑critical installations, ensuring all documentation meets the relevant standards
  • Assist with service order workflows by providing technical input for quotations and proposals
  • Commission equipment on‑site and guarantee reliable, trouble‑free operation at customer locations
  • Deliver application training and provide hands‑on support so customers can use systems efficiently
  • Act as the primary technical contact for customer queries, coordinating solutions with internal teams to deliver the best outcome
Profile
  • Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, or equivalent vocational qualification (e.g., state‑certified technician). Comparable professional experience in technical field service is also acceptable
  • Preferably experienced with vacuum and plasma technologies
  • Familiarity with PLCs, VPD, control electronics, sensors, automation and robot handling is a plus
  • Comfortable using digital tools (service apps, ticketing and ERP systems) as part of daily work
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
  • Demonstrates commitment, creativity and adaptability
  • Customer‑focused, independent worker with a practical, hands‑on approach
  • Willingness to travel regularly and to represent the company professionally in an international environment
