Zusammenfassung

NextGear Capital is seeking a field auditor to conduct physical and financial audits of dealer operations, assess client health and risk, and determine dealer equity for underwriting.

You will visit dealer locations and sites across the assigned territory, document findings, present results to Operations, Risk, and Senior Leadership, and support recovery efforts as needed. Travel up to 75% regionally.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field; or 4 years' related experience.
• 1-2 years audit/inspection experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willing to travel regionally 75% of the time.
• Valid driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Conduct and deliver physical audits and results for Risk organization.
• Support client-facing Operations team members managing dealer portfolios.
• Conduct physical and financial audits to assess client health and risk.
• Establish rapport with dealers to achieve comprehensive risk assessments.
• Visit multiple dealer locations, auctions, repair shops, and other sites.
• Investigate, observe, and document dealership processes and practices.
• Inspect collateral through lot and title audits.
• Determine dealer equity and business health for underwriting purposes.
• Verify inventory in market share conversions of $500,000+ to mitigate risk.
• Present findings to dealers and take next steps, including re-educating dealers and collecting documentation.
• Assist Recovery with repossessions and monitoring daily funding receivables.
• Deliver audit results in written, visual, and verbal form to Operations, Risk, and Senior Leadership.

• Support client-facing Operations team members managing the portfolio of dealer accounts
• Conduct physical and financial audits to assess client business health and risk
• Establish rapport with dealers to achieve comprehensive risk assessments
• Visit multiple dealer locations, auctions, repair shops, and other sites
• Investigate, observe, and document dealership processes and practices
• Inspect collateral through lot and title audits
• Determine dealer equity and business health for underwriting purposes
• Verify inventory in market share conversions of $500,000+ to mitigate risk and grow the portfolio
• Present findings to dealers and take next steps, including re-educating dealers, reviewing inventory trends, collecting payments, and obtaining documentation
• Assist Recovery with repossessions by collecting keys, securing collateral, arranging transportation to auction, and monitoring daily funding receivables
• Deliver audit results in written, visual, and verbal form to Operations, Risk, and Senior Leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field with generally less than 2 years of experience in the auto industry or related field, or 4 years' experience in a related field in lieu of a degree
• 1-2 years audit/inspection experience preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Must be able and willing to travel regionally on short notice 75% of the time
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must live within the assigned territory encompassing the Winston-Salem area, including Statesville, Mooresville, Salisbury, Concord, and surrounding counties
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
• Must pass a pre-employment drug testAbility to assess risk using sales documentation, physical inventory audit results, and dealership staff behavior
• Ability to remain calm and professional in potentially unpleasant or aggressive field environments
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, sleet, and other inclement weather
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
