SMS group GmbH is seeking an Expert – People Analytics & Workforce Strategy to advance global capabilities in HR Controlling, People Analytics and workforce planning. You will translate data into strategic insights for HR and business decisions with broad international scope.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in a relevant field (HR, Business Admin, Economics, Statistics)
• Several years of experience in People Analytics, HR Controlling, Workforce Planning or related
• Strong knowledge of workforce metrics, forecasting and strategic planning
• Experience building KPI frameworks and executive reporting

• Develop and improve global frameworks for People Analytics, HR Controlling and Workforce Planning
• Establish KPI standards, data definitions and governance
• Create integrated workforce reporting and dashboards for management
• Analyze workforce trends, costs, and productivity

• Support budgeting and strategic workforce planning
• Translate data into clear business insights and decision papers
• Act as sparring partner for HR, Finance, IT and leaders

YOU ACT

As an Expert – People Analytics & Workforce Strategy, you will develop and advance SMS group’s global capabilities in HR Controlling, People Analytics, and Workforce Planning.

You will create transparency across the global workforce and translate workforce, organizational, and cost data into meaningful insights for strategic HR and business decisions. The role has a global scope and significant strategic influence. It is an expert position, requiring leadership through expertise, standards, collaboration, and stakeholder influence.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve global frameworks for People Analytics, HR Controlling, and Workforce Planning
• Establish standardized KPIs, reporting methodologies, data definitions, and governance standards
• Create integrated workforce reporting and dashboards for management and executive stakeholders
• Analyze workforce trends, demographics, organizational structures, productivity, labor costs, and resource allocation
• Develop headcount, FTE, labor cost, skills-based, forecasting, and scenario-planning models
• Support budgeting, strategic workforce planning, business transformations, restructuring, succession planning, and talent management
• Translate workforce data into clear business insights, recommendations, presentations, and decision papersAct as a strategic sparring partner for HR Business Partners, HR leadership, Finance, IT, and business leaders
• Define requirements for HR reporting and analytics solutions, particularly within SAP SuccessFactors and related systems
• Improve HR data quality, ownership, governance, and compliance across global entities
• Lead cross-functional initiatives through subject-matter expertise and stakeholder collaboration

YOU KNOW

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a comparable discipline
• Several years of experience in People Analytics, HR Controlling, Workforce Planning, HR Strategy, Management Consulting, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of workforce metrics, organizational effectiveness, labor costs, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Experience developing KPI frameworks, analytical models, management reporting, and executive decision support
• Practical experience with HR systems and analytics tools; knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud or PowerBI is advantageous
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Experience working in an international and matrix organization
• Fluent business English; additional languages are an advantage
