ESMC GmbH in Dresden is seeking a System Engineer Cleanroom to take ownership of critical cleanroom systems, ensuring reliable operation and long-term performance in a cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing facility.

You will join a multinational environment, bridging technical ownership with a greenfield project, and collaborate with technicians and external service providers to optimise reliability and efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical/Facility/Environmental).
• Several years of experience in cleanroom environments or similarly controlled facilities.
• Experience in operation, commissioning or optimisation of complex technical systems.
• Structured and analytical troubleshooting approach.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with technicians, service providers and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent German and English (minimum C1 in both).
• Willingness to participate in international training assignments during onboarding (up to 3 months in Taiwan).

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facility Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of professional experience working with cleanroom environments or comparable highly controlled technical facilities.
• Experience in the operation, commissioning or optimisation of complex technical systems.
• A structured and analytical approach to troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, service providers and cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages).
• Willingness to participate in international training assignments during the onboarding phase (up to 3 months in Taiwan).

Nice to Have

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related high‑tech industries.
• Knowledge of cleanroom technologies, including Airborne Molecular Contamination (AMC) and Air Pollution Control (APC) systems.
• Experience with reliability and problem‑solving methodologies such as RCA, FMEA or 8D.
• Previous experience in a system ownership or operational responsibility role.
