ESMC - Advanced Equipment Technician / Servicetechniker (m/w/d)

As an Advanced Equipment Technician you will go beyond basic maintenance, mastering complex equipment, ensuring top‑tier quality, and leading junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute advanced preventative maintenance (PM) and troubleshoot complex, high‑level equipment issues with minimal engineering guidance.
2. Act as a mentor, leading junior technicians in daily PM and troubleshooting activities, ensuring checklists are flawlessly completed and coaching newcomers to success.
3. Identify subtle equipment deviations, report abnormalities and contribute to process stability.
4. Contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and demonstrate basic tool troubleshooting for the wider team.
5. Take ownership of parts lifecycle—managing scrapped parts and ensuring inventory readiness.
6. Identify safety risks, create basic safety SOPs and provide essential safety training.

Job Qualifications

1. Successfully completed vocational training in an industrial or mechanical field (IHK certified: Industriemechaniker, Mechatroniker or Elektriker).
2. At least three years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment. Semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
3. Practical English skills (Level B1). Must be able to read technical documentation, complete the interview in English and be willing to travel to Taiwan for a 6–9 month training program.
4. Willingness to work an 8‑hour shift model, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
5. Highly reliable, structured and safety‑oriented work style.
6. Team‑oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn, adapt and grow.
