Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to serve as the primary security architect and field SME for DoD and IC accounts. You will build customer communities, translate security capabilities into mission outcomes, and drive engagement with journalists, analysts, and defense events.

The role requires extensive experience in Zero Trust, edge-native security, and AI runtime defense, with a track record of influencing product roadmaps and defense-specific compliance frameworks.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent
• Expertise in edge-native security
• Expertise in Zero Trust architecture
• Expertise in shrinking complex attack surfaces
• Experience securing distributed workloads and hybrid environments
• Knowledge of AI Runtime Defense, including security challenges of live AI models and agentic workflows
• Experience evangelizing and driving cybersecurity initiatives across the public sector
• Knowledge of DoD Cloud Security Requirements Guide IL4/IL5/IL6
• Knowledge of FedRAMP High
• Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive 705
• Knowledge of CMMC compliance frameworks
• Ability to work with field teams, customers, partners, and C-Suite/ senior government stakeholders

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary contact for security and ADE products across DoD, IC, COCOM accounts
• Build a community of DoD and IC customers to provide feedback on roadmaps and priorities
• Lead engagements with journalists and Industry Analysts in support of PR/AR
• Discuss security trends and Akamai Defense Edge portfolio at defense-focused events
• Educate customer-facing organizations on Zero Trust and related security concepts
• Translate product capability into mission outcomes for DoD/IC offices
• Support capture and proposal teams as a technical SME on Defense Edge opportunities
• Engage with Defense and Intelligence stakeholders and relay customer insights to product teams

• Serve as the primary contact for security and ADE products while supporting Sales across DoD, IC, and COCOM accounts
• Build a community of DoD and IC customers to provide feedback on product roadmaps and capability priorities, including compliance requirements
• Lead engagements with journalists and Industry Analysts such as Gartner and Forrester in support of PR/AR teams
• Discuss security industry trends and the Akamai Defense Edge portfolio at defense-focused events including AFCEA TechNet and AUSA Annual Meeting
• Educate customer-facing organizations on Zero Trust, Least Permissive Trust, Tactical ICAM, and AI Runtime Defense for mission environments
• Serve as the solutions-architecture voice for holistic Federal/DoD solutions, translating product capability into mission outcomes for COCOMs, DISA, and military CIO/CTO offices
• Support capture and proposal teams as a named technical thought leader and SME on high-priority Defense Edge opportunities
• Engage with Defense and Intelligence security stakeholders and relay customer insights to product development

• Over 12 years of relevant cybersecurity experience
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent
• Expertise in edge-native security
• Expertise in Zero Trust architecture
• Expertise in shrinking complex attack surfaces
