Jobtailor is seeking an experienced leader in information security architecture to guide governance, strategy, and cross‑team security initiatives. You will drive design across cloud environments, ensure compliance, and lead security-focused product development.

Strong collaboration with business and technical teams is essential. Responsibilities include shaping roadmaps, leading risk assessments, and presenting security strategy to executives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with extensive architecture and governance experience.
• Broad understanding of security domains including IAM, Network, End User Compute, Application, Platform, and Data.
• Experience designing security controls for deploying apps and infrastructure to public cloud services.

• Proven product management and agile development knowledge.

Jobbeschreibung

• Provide leadership and expertise in engineering and architecture efforts for information security technology solutions
• Ensure governance across projects, applications, and infrastructure
• Lead product and software design and development across multiple technical teams
• Develop short- and long-term strategies to reduce risk and align business requirements with security standards
• Guide problem analysis and requirements development
• Develop roadmaps and plans and track progress against them
• Lead build-versus-buy decisions and vendor selection efforts
• Review and approve analysis, design, and other work
• Ensure identity, data protection, and privacy measures are built into production solutions
• Lead technical presentations on security, risk identification and mitigation, standards, best practices, emerging technology, retrospectives, and lessons learned
• Drive the framework for systems, infrastructure, cloud environments, and solutions regarding security standards and compliance
• Develop and review system designs and architectures and provide security guidance aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Assess and document existing platform designs regarding data privacy
• Generate strategic ideas for next-generation platform designs for security and privacy
• Participate in leadership meetings and councils regarding technical and business-driven initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned or apparent

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years of experience working in an architecture function with knowledge and experience developing reference architectures and patterns supporting governance functions OR an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience OR Master’s Degree and 10 years of related experience
• Broad understanding of all security domains, including I&AM, Network, End User Compute, Application, Platform, and Data
• Deep understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends and practical application of existing technologies
• Deep understanding of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies
• Experience designing security controls for deploying applications and infrastructure into public cloud services
• Ability to ideate future solutions and technical designs to meet critical business needs
• Adaptive learning of complex technical systems
