Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a senior security leader to define and drive the enterprise security strategy, roadmap, and operating model. You will lead architecture, IAM, cloud security, threat management, and security transformation across a regulated enterprise.

The role requires 15+ years of security/IT experience and 10+ years leading large teams, with executive-level influence and budget ownership. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Security, CS, Engineering, or Information Systems.
• 15+ years of progressive security and IT experience.
• 10+ years leading large-scale technology teams and enterprise programs.
• Experience leading enterprise security functions across multiple domains in regulated environments.
• Deep experience in security architecture, IAM, cloud security, vulnerability/exposure management, and security transformation.
• Experience modernizing security capabilities amid rapid business change, integrations, acquisitions, or new ventures.
• Executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders across technology, business, risk, and compliance.
• Experience owning budgets, setting investment priorities, making hires, and developing senior security leaders.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity, change, and high-pressure security events.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC preferred.
• Experience in financial services, healthcare, or technology-enabled services preferred.
• Occasional travel may be required for leadership meetings.

• Define and execute the enterprise security strategy, roadmap, operating model, and investments.
• Lead security architecture and engineering, IAM, cloud security, threat and exposure management, offensive and AI security.
• Mature IAM capabilities using modern identity practices and zero trust.
• Modernize vulnerability management into continuous threat management.
• Assess, rationalize, and optimize the security technology stack.
• Translate objectives into measurable programs, KPIs, and security outcomes.
• Provide executive leadership during major security incidents and preparedness activities.
• Collaborate with technology, operations, legal, compliance, privacy, risk, product, and business leaders to embed security into priorities.
• Build and develop a high-performing organization, including succession planning, budgeting, and hiring.
• Present security strategy, risk, metrics, and investment recommendations to executives.

• Partner with the CISO to define and execute the enterprise security strategy, roadmap, operating model, and investment priorities
• Lead security architecture and engineering, employee identity and access management, cloud security, cyber threat and exposure management, offensive security, AI security, and related transformation initiatives
• Rebuild and mature employee identity and access management capabilities using modern identity practices and zero trust principles
• Modernize vulnerability management into a continuous threat and exposure management program
• Assess, rationalize, and optimize the security technology stack
• Translate strategic objectives into measurable programs, operational plans, KPIs, KRIs, and security outcomes
• Provide executive leadership during major security incidents and support preparedness, tabletop exercises, continuity integration, and recovery planning
• Partner across technology, operations, legal, compliance, privacy, risk, product, and business leadership to embed security into enterprise priorities and growth initiatives
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing organization, including succession planning, talent development, budget ownership, and hiring decisions
• Present security strategy, risk, metrics, and investment recommendations to executive leaders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 15+ years of progressive security and information technology experience
• 10+ years leading large-scale technology teams and enterprise programs
• Success leading enterprise security functions across multiple technical domains in a complex, regulated organization
• Deep experience in security architecture and engineering, identity and access management, cloud security, vulnerability or exposure management, and security transformation
• Experience modernizing security capabilities while supporting rapid business change, integrations, acquisitions, joint ventures, or new ventures
• Executive presence and ability to influence senior technology, business, risk, and compliance leaders
• Experience owning budgets, setting investment priorities, making hiring decisions, and developing senior security leaders
• Ability to lead through ambiguity, organizational change, and high-pressure security events
• Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, or equivalent is preferred
• Experience in financial services, large-scale healthcare, or technology-enabled services is preferred
• Occasional travel may be required for leadership meetings and business needs
