Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Engineer in Germany to design and implement secure architectures, lead risk-based assessments, and guide secure engineering practices across programs.

You will engineer identity, cloud, network, and data-protection capabilities, mentor staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet federal/regulatory standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, CS, engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Seven or more years in cybersecurity or security engineering with technical leadership.
• Deep knowledge of security architecture, identity, networks, endpoints, cloud, vulnerability management, incident response, and secure engineering.
• Ability to lead risk-based decisions and produce clear technical/customer-facing docs.
• Background check required; some roles may need public trust or clearance.
• Experience in federal/defense/CUI/classified/FedRAMP or similar environments preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP/CCSP/GIAC/Security+ or related welcomed.

• Collaborate across technical, program, and customer teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent directly relevant experience
• Seven or more years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience, including technical leadership of complex security work
• Deep knowledge of security architecture, identity, networks, endpoints, cloud, vulnerability management, incident response, and secure engineering
• Ability to lead risk-based decisions and produce clear technical and customer-facing documentation
• Employment subject to required background screening
• Some assignments may require the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust determination or security clearance
• Preferred: Experience supporting federal, defense, CUI, classified, FedRAMP, or other regulated environments
• Preferred: CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, Security+, cloud-security, or other role-relevant certification
• Preferred: Experience with RMF authorization packages, security automation, zero trust, or DevSecOps
