• Design and develop innovative AI-powered security solutions protecting enterprise systems, applications, and data
• Leverage modern software engineering practices, cloud technologies, and emerging AI frameworks to build secure, scalable applications
• Configure and integrate cybersecurity systems that mitigate risk
• Troubleshoot and quickly resolve escalated incidents
• Design, build, configure, maintain, and monitor cybersecurity threat defense capabilities and user access management
• Coordinate integration and collaboration with managed security providers
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Support cybersecurity capabilities and business objectives across the organization
• Report typically to a Manager or Senior Manager; no direct reports
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant software development or engineering experience preferred
- Experience programming in Python and at least one object-oriented programming language; Java preferred
- Experience building agentic AI systems using frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), or similar
- Experience developing or integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients
- Experience building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
- Experience with AI evaluation, guardrails, prompt engineering, prompt-injection defense, and unsafe-tool-invocation defense
- Experience with cloud-native application development on Google Cloud Platform, including Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Agent Engine, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Secret Manager; equivalent Azure or AWS experience considered
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries against relational databases
- Familiarity with relational, NoSQL, and vector databases
- Experience building and supporting microservice architectures and APIs
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment tools
- Experience with Git and version control systems
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, sensitive-data handling, data classification, model endpoint controls, and retention
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, cyber threat intelligence, detection engineering, or offensive security, or demonstrated interest in developing it
- Experience with debugging, monitoring, root cause analysis, observability, and LLM application cost monitoring
- Experience creating and executing unit, functional, integration, performance, and automated tests
- Understanding of code reviews, testing, documentation, and agile development methodologies
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript frameworks
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a job-related field
- Minimum 2+ years of work experience
