Job summary

Clera in Berlin is seeking Deployment Strategist and Success Engineer professionals to guide customers from scoping to production, and to build and manage integrations with customers’ back-end systems. Both tracks require hands-on, client-facing work and fluency in English and German.

The roles involve leading workshops, creating repeatable playbooks, and ensuring successful deployment timelines with an emphasis on adoption, retention, and expansion.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a high-stakes, customer-facing role such as consulting, implementation, sales, or account management.
• Experience building workflows and AI agents, with practical knowledge of prompt engineering, APIs, webhooks, and integration troubleshooting.
• Experience designing and deploying integrations with customer backend systems, managing multi-stakeholder pilots, and documenting technical setups and best practices.
• Fluent English and German are required; experience with voice agents/conversational AI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scope customer use cases, configure and tune voice agents, and lead user acceptance testing to production.
• Build integrations between AI agents and customer systems such as CRMs, dialers, calendars, and ticketing platforms, including custom tools and webhooks.
• Monitor agent performance, refine prompts and workflows, and troubleshoot integration and call-quality issues in production.
• Manage customer projects and accounts, with a focus on deployment timelines and pilot outcomes or ongoing adoption, retention, and expansion.
• Lead customer workshops and training, and share customer needs with product teams.
• Create repeatable deployment and adoption playbooks, workflows, and documentation.

Join a customer operations team at an early-stage AI voice software company. This hands-on, customer-facing role spans two tracks: Deployment Strategists guide customers from project scoping through their first production calls, while Success Engineers support live customers by improving adoption, retention, and expansion.

What You'll Do

Scope customer use cases, configure and tune voice agents, and lead user acceptance testing to bring customers into production.

Build integrations between AI agents and customer systems such as CRMs, dialers, calendars, and ticketing platforms, including custom tools and webhooks.

Monitor agent performance, refine prompts and workflows, and troubleshoot integration and call-quality issues in production.

Manage customer projects and accounts, with a focus on deployment timelines and pilot outcomes or ongoing adoption, retention, and expansion.

What We're Looking For

For Deployment Strategist: at least 1 year in a high-stakes, customer-facing role such as consulting, implementation, sales, or account management, including leading complex projects end to end.

For Success Engineer: at least 2 years in a technical customer-facing role such as technical account management, solutions engineering, implementation, or SaaS support.

Experience building workflows and AI agents, with practical knowledge of prompt engineering, APIs, webhooks, and integration troubleshooting.

Experience designing and deploying integrations with customer backend systems, managing multi-stakeholder pilots, and documenting technical setups and best practices.

Fluent English and German are required. Experience with voice agents, conversational AI, or customer operations in sectors such as energy, telecom, insurance, or financial services is useful.

75,000 to 110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Deployment Strategists work on-site in Berlin, Germany. Success Engineers may work hybrid within Europe and should expect travel.
