Job summary

Wwshemi is building AI-powered voice products for customer service and business operations in Berlin. You will own features end to end across agent configuration, integrations, and systems that support reliable customer interactions.

Join a small team working on real-time audio, LLMs, and agentic systems, with opportunities to shape architecture, improve observability, and deploy across AWS/GCP/Azure while relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend.
• Experience building and owning distributed systems and state management in production.
• Production backend experience with Python, FastAPI, or TypeScript; frontend with React or TanStack.
• Experience with real-time audio systems or voice infrastructure, and with LLMs, AI agents, or agentic systems in production.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar data stores; cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal, and observability tools like OpenTelemetry.

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Build an AI assistant that helps configure agents, investigate issues, connect external systems, and surface information through natural language.
• Develop and optimize voice agents for speed, reliability, and quality.
• Extend agents to support calls, messaging, and email with shared memory and state.
• Build memory systems that help agents reason across customer workflows.
• Improve observability and tracing so teams can understand and resolve unsuccessful interactions.
• Enable agents to select the most suitable communication channel for each interaction.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with production experience across frontend and backend development.
• Experience building and owning distributed systems, asynchronous or event-driven workflows, and complex state management in production.
• Production backend experience with Python, FastAPI, or TypeScript, and frontend experience with React or TanStack.
• Experience with real-time audio systems or voice infrastructure, and with LLMs, AI agents, or agentic systems in production.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar data stores, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal, communication integrations, and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry.
• Strong software fundamentals, product sense, and a bias toward delivering customer and business outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits

€85,000 to €160,000 annually, plus equity. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in Berlin, Germany. Relocation support is available.
