Job summary

BYD Germany is seeking new colleagues for the Battery Aftersales department in Berlin. As a battery maintenance staff, you will work in a team to repair, self-test, and contribute to refining battery testing and repair procedures, while upholding quality during the repair process.

The role requires vocational training in electrician or a related field, or a full-time Bachelor in science/engineering. English proficiency is required; German or Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from vocational training in electrician or related field. Or a full-time Bachelor in science or engineering.
• Full-time work experience in a manufacturing field is preferred; work experience in production or after-sales service is preferred.
• English proficiency required; German or Chinese is a plus.
• Acceptable for business trips for about 4 months per year.

Responsibilities

• Follow the maintenance process documents to repair and do the self-test.
• Complete the daily maintenance plan as required.
• Assist in establishing quality standards for battery testing and repairs.
• Assist in refining battery testing and repair procedures with process engineers.
• Conduct quality acceptance inspections during the repair process.
