Your tasks

• Design, development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Creation of high-quality data products and analyses
• Further development of our big data platform with a focus on scalable and high-performance system architectures
• Design and optimization of data models and the technical data infrastructure in the context of modern data platforms
• Cross-divisional coordination to define requirements and goals as well as during implementation
• Promotion of responsible handling of data

Your profile

• Several years of experience as a data engineer or software developer in the big data environment
• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud technologies and modern data platforms (e.g. data lake, data mesh)
• Analytical thinking and ability to abstract complex issues
• Solution-oriented, pragmatic way of working even with unclear requirements
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and personal responsibility
• Ideally knowledge of data and metadata management and tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
