inovex is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d) specializing in Microsoft Fabric to lead architecture and build modern data platforms for data-driven services and AI applications.

You will take technical responsibility for challenging projects, design scalable systems, and mentor teammates in an agile environment. German (C1) and English (B2) are required, with STEM education preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional experience in data engineering / machine learning.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Microsoft Fabric / Azure environment.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Experience with lakehouses, dataflows, data pipelines, OneLake, and Delta Lake.
• Confident use of Python and T-SQL.
• Experience with production data platforms and distributed data services.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud architectures.
• Customer-focused communication and consulting on an equal footing.
• Pragmatic, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Very good German skills (C1) and good English skills (B2).
• Completed degree, ideally in a STEM field.
