Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a senior data platform engineer in Berlin to lead the design and implementation of a modern data platform. You will shape architecture, evaluate approaches, and drive data integration across ERP systems, including SAP, while ensuring data quality and scalable models.

The role requires strong Azure expertise, DataOps/DevOps experience, and fluency in German and English. You will collaborate with external partners and potentially take on ownership responsibilities as the

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Experience delivering data projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms; Azure Databricks is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, and CI/CD processes.
• Practical experience integrating ERP systems and other enterprise applications.
• Understanding of data quality management and data validation.
• Assertiveness and ability to collaborate with external service providers.
• Interest in modern technologies and AI-supported ways of working.
• Very good German and English skills.
