Zusammenfassung

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Cybersecurity Assurance professional to identify and monitor cyber risks, support audits, and assess security across products and development lifecycles. The role focuses on governance, incident handling, and cloud security within a global team.

You will collaborate with Cybersecurity experts across industries and travel as needed, bringing strong communication and project management skills to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifikationen

  • Degree in IT/CS or related field; certifications are a plus.
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity audits or assessments is preferred.
  • Wamiliarity with product security, cloud environments, and software development is a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Identify, assess, measure and monitor Cybersecurity risks via hands-on risk assessments and control testing.
  • Prepare and support Cybersecurity audits of Siemens IT systems, products, services, and centers; translate findings for management action.
  • Assess Cybersecurity in Siemens products across lifecycle, including cloud environments and development processes.
  • Evaluate Cybersecurity governance, incident handling, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
  • Collaborate with global Cybersecurity experts to drive innovative solutions.

Our Cybersecurity team provides core assurance over the Cybersecurity health of the company which includes IT infrastructures, product security, software development and cloud environments. What part will you play?
  • You will identify, assess, measure and monitor Cybersecurity risks by performing hands‑on risk assessments of processes and established controls. Using your analytical skills, you will identify security gaps and evaluate these further to identify their root causes.
  • You will prepare and support the execution of Cybersecurity audits on Siemens IT systems, products, services, and software development centers. During this process you support highlighting important observations, translating technical findings into management information so that they can take effective actions.
  • You will assess Cybersecurity in Siemens’ most innovative products—from the product security features to the software development lifecycle and state‑of‑the‑art cloud environments.
  • You will support assessing the Cybersecurity governance of Siemens, including policies and processes such as incident handling and response, threat detection, vulnerability management, etc.
  • You will work closely with Cybersecurity experts from multiple industries to improve their solutions by tackling the root cause of the issues and finding innovative solutions to modern challenges.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
  • Strong academic history with a degree in IT, Computer Science or related fields; certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM are a plus.
  • 2+ years working experience in the field of Cybersecurity within Siemens or a related industry, or a ‘Big 4’ accounting firm or a consultancy in IT/Cybersecurity and audit.
  • Demonstrated affinity to learn about the latest trends in Cybersecurity and keep up to date in a continuously challenging environment.
  • Good communication, presentation and basic project management skills.
  • Ideally you have experience in some of the following domains: user & access management, application security, cloud environments, network security, vulnerability management & incident handling, system hardening, asset management, industrial security controls, secure software development.
  • Experience with leveraging and integrating AI into day‑to‑day work is considered an advantage.
  • Fluent in English. German or other languages are a plus.
  • You demonstrate an international mindset and are open to international travel and working in a diverse team.

The salary range for this position is 61,400 EUR to 98,400 EUR and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
