Job Description

As our German Country Manager, you will be the Sales leader of a small Sales, Marketing and Product Support team located mainly in Hamburg.

Your first mission will be to maximize the sales and profitability of Raymarine & FLIR Maritime products within Germany and associated territories.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise the personnel assigned to the sales, marketing, and Product Support functions
• To develop a sales plan to effectively address all market segments available to Raymarine and FLIR.
• Development of sales forecasts for current and new products and achievement of forecast level of sales.
• Maintain and develop an effective sales team to provide market coverage and hit targets.
• Maintain and grow our OEM (Boat Builder) business.
• Develop sales promotional activities and training programs to ensure that dealers/Retailers/Service Centers can effectively promote Raymarine products.
• Establish promotional and communication strategies to drive end user demand.
• Ensure that Raymarine's Corporate policies and standards are maintained in the market.
• The role is based in Hamburg
• Domestic and some international travel being required.
• Carry out the role in accordance with all relevant legislation and following Raymarine's policies and processes (including but not limited to those relating to ethics, compliance, cyber security, product development, labour and human rights, and the environment.)
• Undertake all mandatory training as requested.

• Strong team player with high level of influence and exposure at all levels within the Company
• High level of communication with Key Retailers/Dealers and OEM’s
• Responsibility to maintain excellent customer relations
• Requires ability for clear/concise communication
• Strong motivation and team leadership ability
• Fluent in German and competent in English, both verbal and written.
