Zusammenfassung

OSM Thome is looking for a 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook to join our offshore support vessel in Taiwan. You will assist the Chief Cook in preparing meals for the crew and officers while helping keep the galley clean, safe, and well organized.

Key duties include daily meal preparation, menu planning with special diets, preparing salads and desserts, proper storage and hygiene, and supporting galley stock control. Offshore rotation in Taiwan requires good English and STCW compliant personnel.

Qualifikationen

• Previous sea experience as 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook, preferably offshore.
• Basic marine galley experience and knowledge of food hygiene.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness as required.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a small team and follow instructions from Chief Cook.
• Willingness to work in offshore conditions in Taiwan.
