Zusammenfassung

OSM Thome is seeking a 2nd Engineer to join a bulk carrier fleet operating worldwide. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure safe and efficient engine room operations across vessels.

Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining main engine and auxiliaries, performing planned maintenance per PMS and maker manuals, and keeping accurate logs. You will support drills and ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures, contributing to a strong engine team.

Qualifikationen

• Valid STCW 2/E Certificate of Competency for motor ships.
• Recent experience as 2nd Engineer on bulk carriers preferred.
• All mandatory STCW certificates and valid seafarer medical.
• Good English communication skills, spoken and written.
• Strong teamwork, safety awareness and hands-on technical skills.
