Job summary

OMMAX GmbH is seeking a governance-focused professional to help clients deploy and scale AI responsibly. You will work with business owners, AI teams, risk and legal stakeholders to define proportionate governance requirements and ensure practical control implementations across data, models, and applications.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in AI governance, technology risk, cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, or related consulting/in-house role.
• Solid understanding of key AI risk topics (security, privacy, bias, explainability, model oversight, third-party risk).
• Ability to structure complex topics clearly and turn analysis into pragmatic recommendations.

• Assist clients in deploying and scaling AI responsibly by embedding governance into solutions and workflows.
• Collaborate with business owners, AI teams, risk, legal, and users to define governance requirements for AI use cases.
• Assess AI systems across data, models, vendors, applications, oversight, monitoring and ownership; design governance frameworks and control mechanisms.
• Partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure governance enables production deployment.

• You help clients deploy and scale AI responsibly by turning regulatory, ethical, security, and business requirements into practical controls embedded in real solutions and workflows.
• You work directly with business owners, AI teams, risk functions, legal stakeholders, and users to understand AI use cases and define proportionate governance requirements.
• You assess AI systems across their lifecycle, including data, models, vendors, applications, human oversight, monitoring, and operational ownership.
• You design and implement governance frameworks, policies, approval processes, inventories, risk classifications, documentation, and control mechanisms.
• You partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure governance enables production deployment rather than remaining separate from implementation.
• You lead interviews and workshops, prepare clear recommendations, and support client teams in operationalizing responsible AI practices.
• You contribute reusable assessment methods, templates, training, and best practices for OMMAX AI Governance engagements.

What we require:

• You have 2-3 years of experience in AI governance, technology risk, cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, digital risk, or a related consulting or in-house role.
• You have a solid understanding of key AI risk topics such as security, privacy, bias, explainability, model oversight, and third-party risk.
• You are interested in how organizations can scale AI in a controlled way without slowing down innovation unnecessarily.
• You can structure complex topics clearly and turn analysis into pragmatic recommendations.
• You communicate confidently in English and work well with both business and technical stakeholders.
• You bring a hands-on, detail-oriented, and solution-focused working style.
• You are fluent in English.
