Pylontech in Germany is seeking a Commissioning Engineer (Energy Storage Systems) to lead on-site delivery and commissioning across the DACH region, ensuring installation, testing, and handover of our energy storage systems to customers.

The role requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of experience in project delivery or field engineering; hands-on experience with energy storage or power projects is highly valued.

Qualifikationen

We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer (Energy Storage Systems), to support the on-site delivery and commissioning of our energy storage systems across the DACH region. In this role, you will act as a key technical representative during project execution, ensuring successful installation, commissioning, and handover of our systems to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on-site delivery and technical implementation of energy storage systems, including:
• Pre-commissioning inspections
• Installation guidance and supervision
• System energization and commissioning
• System integration, testing, and functional validation
• Interface with EPC contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues during project execution
• Conduct Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and support final project handover
• Provide technical recommendations and improvement solutions based on on-site findings
• Prepare commissioning documentation, technical reports, and handover records

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Renewable Energy, or related fields
• Minimum 1 year of experience in project delivery, commissioning, or field engineering
• Hands-on experience with Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy storage or power projects is strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Familiarity with energy storage system architecture, including LV/HV systems and grid connection principles
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe
• Fluent in English; German proficiency required for professional communication
