You will work with low- and medium-voltage systems, perform commissioning and testing, and support grid-related upgrades across Germany, requiring travel and driving privileges.
We are supporting a growing company specializing in utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and are looking for an experienced Service Technician (m/f/d) with a background in electrical engineering, EMSR, energy systems or industrial control technology.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring large-scale lithium-ion battery storage systems operate safely, reliably and efficiently– from maintenance and troubleshooting through to commissioning and technical optimization.
Maintenance, servicing and inspection of utility-scale BESS and associated systems
Independent fault finding and troubleshooting
Working with low- and medium-voltage electrical systems
Monitoring, configuration and optimization of SCADA, EMS and remote-control systems
Carrying out commissioning, functional testing and safety inspections
Supporting system upgrades, grid tests and technical optimization
Documenting service and maintenance activities
Qualified Electrician, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Energy Technician or similar
Several years' experience in EMSR, maintenance, energy systems or industrial control technology
Knowledge of SCADA, EMS, Modbus and/or IEC 61850
Willingness to travel throughout Germany
Class B driving license
Work directly with utility-scale battery storage systems at the forefront of the energy transition
High level of technical responsibility and varied projects
