Job summary

Clera is seeking a hands-on Chief of Staff to work closely with the founders on priority initiatives, including go-to-market operations, company-building projects, and internal systems. You will own execution across GTM, reporting, tooling, and partnerships in a fast-growing AI procurement software environment.

Requirements include 2+ years in a high-performance setting, daily AI tool experience, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a high-performance environment such as consulting, VC, high-growth startup, or founding a company.
• Hands-on daily experience with AI tools and awareness of their capabilities.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Experience owning go-to-market execution or sales operations, including systems, playbooks, or automation.
• Track record delivering cross-functional, company-building projects.

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Drive high-priority initiatives from strategic decisions through to measurable progress, helping founders focus on their highest-impact work.

• Own go-to-market execution and sales operations by building repeatable systems, playbooks, and automation.

• Develop the company's operational backbone, including reporting, tooling, vendor management, and internal processes.

• Identify AI tools, run experiments, and incorporate effective approaches into work across functions.

• Lead cross-functional projects from analysis to delivery, including market research, competitive positioning, pricing, and partnerships.

• Communicate key decisions and keep cross-functional initiatives moving and teams aligned.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in a high-performance environment, such as consulting, venture capital, a high-growth startup, or founding a company.

• Daily, hands-on experience with AI tools and a strong understanding of their capabilities.

• Fluency in both German and English.

• Experience owning go-to-market execution or sales operations, including building systems, playbooks, or automation.

• A track record of delivering cross-functional company-building projects.
