Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to join our sterile processing team. This role handles instruments, equipment and supplies for the operating room, clinics and in-house departments, ensuring accurate record keeping and distribution while following standard sterilization procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• CBSPD (Certification Board Sterile Processing and Distribution) or IAHCSMM - CRCST (CertifiedCBSPD (Certification Board Sterile Processingand Distribution) or IAHCSMM - CRCST(Certified Registered Central ServiceTechnician at hire. In lieu of certification, 3years of relevant experience as describedbelow and must obtain one of the required certifications within 12 months from date of hire.Other (If other, please enter details in section to the right)IAHCSMM - CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CBSPD(Certified Board Sterile Processing andDistribution) is required within a year of hire
• Familiarity with and knowledge of medical supplies required. Familiarity with O.R. routines, infection control principles and regulatory practices required.
• Experience with an automated inventory control system preferred. Experience with automated database for instrumentation preferred. Minimum Experience Required Minimum 6 months of customer service experience any field. CRCST or CBSPD is required

Salary Range

$21.12 - $32.24

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
