NCA is looking for motivated, talented, aspirational mid-career professionals with the ambition to partner with NCA to search, acquire and lead a small or medium-sized enterprise as Chief Executive Officer.

As an NCA Searcher, you will spearhead a professional search lasting up to 24 months to acquire one small- to medium-sized company. During this process, you'll have access to financial and business support from NCA, along with an attractive incentive package including a base salary and vested shares in the acquired company, further supporting your entrepreneurial journey.

SEARCHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish a search process aiming to generate sufficient deal flow to find a business to acquire according to pre-defined criteria.
• Manage the acquisition process with support from our experienced Investment Management team.
• Step into the CEO role of the newly acquired business.
• Generate and evaluate strategic growth options, develop long-term business strategies, and 100-day plans.
• Grow the business's top line through impactful marketing and sales initiatives.
• Review product/service offerings, portfolio strategies, and brand positioning, and implement improvements.
• Manage geographical expansions, preparing and executing market entry strategies.
• Ensure efficiency and profitable growth.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Academic achievement (Executive MBA or MBA preferred).
• At least 5+ years in leadership roles managing multiple teams across various geographies.
• Over 10+ years of proven experience running and growing businesses or business units in Germany.
• P&L responsibility experience.
• Strategic vision for a sector or industry.
• Strong motivation towards entrepreneurship.
• Fluent in English and German.

• M&A experience.
• Consulting experience from a top firm.
• Experience managing and operating an SME.
• Owner, founder, or co-founder of a startup.
• Experience in global business development and international expansion.

SELECTION PROCESS

• Candidates will undergo multiple interviews, online assessments, a business case presentation, and a jury review over several weeks.
• Webinars will be available for more information and to meet the NCA team.
• The final assessment with the jury will occur in December 2025.
