CEEZER in Berlin is seeking a results-driven professional to drive high-integrity carbon credit portfolios for enterprise engagements, translating buyer needs into robust portfolios while coordinating with market experts, consultants, and account executives. You will design data-informed portfolio structures, integrate risk management and budget considerations, and advise on portfolio strategy for complex multi-year programs.

Fluent English and a valid German work permit are required.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in carbon markets or global carbon initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge about the dynamics and technicalities of the VCM, ideally with knowledge of different technologies, project types and classification systems.
• Familiarity with leading frameworks such as SBTi and IC-VCM.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to structure complex portfolio decisions and communicate them clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to craft well-documented business cases.
• Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Fluency in English.
• A valid working permit in Germany.

• Translate buyer requirements into resilient carbon credit portfolios, integrating risk management, budget considerations, and operational structure to deliver actionable solutions.
• Develop resilient, data-informed portfolio structures that integrate risk management, budget optimization, and operational feasibility.
• Function as an internal expert to advise on portfolio strategy and project selection for complex multi-year portfolios.
• Liaise with the Impact team to ensure expert knowledge and accurate understanding of the offered technologies and available supply.
• Work closely with Sales to align on buyer portfolio requirements and buyer-facing materials for both pre- and post-sales activities.

• Translate buyer requirements into resilient carbon credit portfolios within CEEZER, integrating risk management, budget considerations, and operational structure to deliver actionable solutions.
• Develop resilient, data-informed portfolio structures that integrate risk management, budget optimization, and operational feasibility.
• Function as an internal expert to advise on portfolio strategy and project selection with a focus on complex multi-year portfolios.
• Liaise with the Impact team to ensure expert knowledge and to have an accurate understanding of the offered technologies the available supply.
• Work closely with Sales to align on buyer portfolio requirements and buyer-facing materials for both pre- and post-sales activities.
