Jobbeschreibung

Are you ready to make a real impact? Are you excited by the opportunity to grow your operational skills while unlocking climate action for enterprise organizations?

Then join CEEZER and help companies across the globe to leverage a truly impactful solution that is finally fixing how companies get to net‑zero using the voluntary carbon market and data‑led insights. Use your skills to tackle one of the most critical challenges humanity has ever faced: climate change.

We are looking for a highly motivated Operations Associate (f/d/m) who loves to build solutions to complex challenges and can’t wait to streamline processes in a data‑driven way.

You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations in a very fast‑moving and VC‑funded startup and will support building up the Operations team.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee end‑to‑end platform processes, including onboarding, offerings on the platform, transactions, and dispute management.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding to the platform for project developers and buyers in close collaboration with the Commercial and Impact teams.
  • Manage and optimize transactions, ensuring timely, error‑free execution of carbon credit purchases and sales.
  • Handle disputes between buyers and project developers and implement standardized dispute resolution processes to address issues such as delayed fulfillment or payments.
  • Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in platform processes and implement improvements to set up processes for scale.
  • Perform data analyses and build BI reports to automate alerts and track key operational KPIs.
  • Work closely across departments (Commercial, Impact, Product, Finance, Legal) to standardize, optimize, and automate processes.
  • Provide strategic insights to help guide platform enhancement based on operational data and customer feedback.
Qualifications
  • Recent graduate (bachelor's/master's) with outstanding academic achievements.
  • Prior internship experience in consulting, investment banking, high‑growth startups, or another dynamic, fast‑paced setting.
  • Strong determination to go the extra mile, coupled with the willingness to tackle essential tasks head‑on.
  • An analytical and data‑driven mindset, along with proficient Excel skills and experience in BI tools (e.g. Metabase, Looker, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Quickly adaptable to changing priorities in an evolving business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German.
  • Residing in Berlin or demonstrating a willingness to relocate to Berlin.
  • Possession of a valid German work permit or eligibility to work legally within the European Union.
Benefits & Culture
  • A mission that matters: Join an international team solving the world's most pressing climate challenges through specialized expertise in finance, technology, and climate assets.
  • Accelerated growth opportunities: CEEZER is growing fast – and we’re looking for people who want to grow with us. You’ll have opportunities to leverage your experience while expanding your skills through cross‑functional initiatives.
  • A continuous learning culture: At CEEZER, everyone has the opportunity to own their role. See a better way to do something? Try it out. Interested in getting involved cross‑functionally? Explore it. Know a better tool for one of our workflows? Make a case for it. We’re building a world‑class solution in a completely new market, and we encourage everyone to find our best practices – many don’t exist yet.
  • An empowering & diverse environment: We celebrate diversity of all kinds, and recognize the importance of each individual’s capacity to contribute to our mission and help us achieve our goals.
  • Enterprise grade‑impact you can see: Be part of transforming how global enterprise companies approach climate assets. Our platform delivers unprecedented access to more than 10,000 global projects, backed by sophisticated data, rigorous risk and due diligence, and guided through expert support.
  • A net‑zero career from day one: As of your first day, your professional and personal carbon footprint is removed. Because at CEEZER, sustainability isn’t just our mission, it’s how we operate.

We prohibit discrimination or harassment of any kind and make employment and other employee lifecycle decisions based solely on merit, skills, and potential.
