Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an Associate Partner in Insurance Strategy to join a high-growth scale-up environment in Germany. You will work directly with executive leadership on growth strategy, enterprise transformation, AI and digital initiatives, and operating model design across the insurance sector.

You will lead complex programmes, mentor high-performing teams, and shape strategic capabilities while building lasting relationships with senior stakeholders in financial services.

Qualifications

• 5-12 years' experience within a leading strategy consultancy, corporate strategy function or similar.
• Deep expertise in insurance and/or financial services.
• Fluency in German and English; strong communication with senior stakeholders.

Associate Partner - Insurance Strategy - High Growth Scale Up

We are building a small, high-calibre strategy team focused on solving some of the most complex strategic and transformation challenges facing the insurance sector.

We are looking for individuals who combine exceptional strategic thinking, commercial judgement and the ability to influence senior decision-makers on issues that shape businesses.

The team is intentionally selective. We recognise that the strongest candidates are typically successful in their current roles and not actively seeking a move.

The Opportunity

As AP, you will work directly with executive leadership on high-impact strategic initiatives spanning growth strategy, enterprise transformation, AI and digital, operating model design and value creation across the insurance sector.

Beyond leading complex programmes, you'll play an important role in shaping relationships, developing people and helping build a distinctive strategy capability with long-term ambitions.

• Deep expertise in insurance and/or financial services.
• Nice to have, an established network within insurance and/or financial services.
• Familiarity with modern AI/Data strategy.
• A strong track record delivering strategic transformation and influencing executive stakeholders.
• Sales-first mindset, and the ability to sell without a big name brand.
• Desire and passion genuinely play a part in rapid growth and to build something special.
• Outstanding analytical capability, commercial judgement and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience building, scaling and leading high-performing teams.
• Excellent academic credentials
• Fluency in German and English
