Overview

AMD develops high‑performance computing and visualization products to solve some of the world’s toughest and most interesting challenges. As we expand across EMEA, one key focus is on the next wave of Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs). To support this growth, we are seeking a motivated and collaborative Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to help manage and grow our Channel partner ecosystem. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced, partner‑centric environment. You will work closely with senior Account Managers and Business Development Executives, receiving guidance and mentorship while supporting both 1 : 1 and 1 : many partner engagement activities. You’ll identify new Tier Two CSPs and qualify their readiness to engage with AMD field teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation – Use outbound calls, emails, and research to identify potential customers and generate new leads (fully supported by the wider sales team).
  • Customer Engagement – Drive engagement with newly identified CSPs and assess their readiness to work more deeply with AMD. Utilize data to create the business case for the Sales Team to engage with the customer. Discuss future opportunities with identified accounts.
  • Data & Analytics – Maintain accurate records of customer interactions. Update the customer database and stay informed about products and competitor offers.
  • Team Engagement & Support – Coordinate regular communication touchpoints such as calls, webinars, and newsletters under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Enablement & Activation – Support onboarding and enablement activities for new and existing CSPs. Help partners understand AMD’s product portfolio and value proposition.
  • Sales & Pipeline Development – Collaborate with partners to identify sales opportunities and support pipeline development. Participate in and help create joint demand generation activities and follow up on leads.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a sales environment; datacenter knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with clients.
  • Relationship‑building skills to create trust and rapport in a virtual environment.
  • Product and industry knowledge to answer questions and demonstrate value.
  • Organizational skills to manage a pipeline of leads and maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other digital communication platforms.
  • Resilience and strategic thinking to navigate competitive markets.
  • Fluency in German (written and spoken) is required for this role.
