Job summary

Forsyth Barnes is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to build and deploy AI agents and LLM-powered applications. The role involves developing reliable AI systems, integrating AI with existing software, and driving improvements in performance, cost, and scalability.

You will own projects end-to-end, from idea to production, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience across software engineering and AI.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on AI experience.
• Experience building and deploying applications using LLMs.
• Strong understanding of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, structured outputs, and AI agent frameworks.
• Experience with REST APIs, cloud services, and integrations.
• Familiarity with AI testing, evaluation, and quality processes.
• Able to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
